This guided tour will take you back in time to the origins of Florence.
The Baptistery is a symbol of the city and masterpiece of Romanesque architecture with its dome entirely covered with Byzantine mosaics, currently under restoration; Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore gives you the unique opportunity to admire the mosaics of the vault, climbing up the spectacular restoration site with a special itinerary dedicated to visitors, allows you an exceptionally point of view, very close to the beautiful mosaics.
NB. It is mandatory to wear closed-toe shoes. Heels, sandals and flip flops are not allowed.

Guided tour in ENGLISH
Meeting point: Antica Canonica di San Giovanni. Piazza San Giovanni, 7 (in front of the North Door of the Baptistery), 15 minutes before the starting time of the visit.
Visitors will meet their guide at the meeting point in Piazza San Giovanni nr. 7 , and enter the monuments after the security check.
The tour starts at the time selected during the purchase and written on the ticket. We kindly ask you to arrive 15 min. before scheduled time. Punctuality is required to grant everyone the best experience.
NB. The ticket allows the access to Santa Reparata and Opera Duomo Museum within the 3 days of validity.
